The dates for the 2018 HomeStay Symposium has not yet been announced. Check back here in February for information.

The 2017 HomeStay Symposium will once again be held on the campus of Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL (greater Chicagoland area).

The Symposium is for any person involved with a Christian school international student HomeStay Boarding Program, including (but not limited to):

  • International Program Directors
  • International Program Coordinators
  • Directors of Admissions
  • College Guidance Counselors
  • Host Parents
  • School Board Members
  • Principals
  • Heads of Schools
  • Superintendents
  • ESL Teachers
  • Teachers of all subjects

Pricing for 2018 will be made available later this year.

Participants should plan to arrange their own transportation from the airport to their hotel or Wheaton College. Here are our transportation recommendations.

During the Symposium
Complimentary shuttles between Wheaton College and the Holiday Inn-Carol Stream will be provided in the morning and afternoon of each day, with advance reservation only.

Covers academic-related topics with sessions specifically for TEACHERS and administrators to learn how to better meet the unique needs of international students.
